ARISF President Meets IOC President at the Olympic House

The President of the Association of IOC Recognised International Sports Federations (ARISF), Raffaele Chiulli, held his first formal meeting with the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Kirsty Coventry, at the Olympic House in Lausanne.

This occasion reflects the strong unity within the Olympic Movement and further underscores the important role played by ARISF in representing and supporting IOC Recognised International Federations.

It provided an opportunity to present the evolution of the organisation in recent years, as well as the continued development of services dedicated to its members. In particular, President Chiulli outlined ongoing efforts to strengthen support to International Federations through targeted initiatives, enhanced engagement, and a clear strategic vision aligned with the needs of the Olympic Movement.

On this occasion, President Chiulli stated:

“This meeting was an important opportunity to present the progress made by ARISF and the continuous development of the services we provide to our members. Our objective remains clear: to support recognised International Federations in navigating an evolving sporting environment and to ensure they are well positioned to contribute to the future of the Olympic Movement.”

President Chiulli also expressed his appreciation for the constructive exchange and reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining a close and collaborative relationship with the IOC.

This first formal meeting further consolidates the relationship between ARISF and the IOC, reflecting a shared vision based on cooperation and the continued strengthening of the Olympic Movement.
